AEA PD Online's Student Personalized Learning System.
The Next Generation Energy class of Waukee High School’s Aspiring Professional Experiences Program (APEX) has also produced a Nuclear Energy Module for you to explore. It shares information to students on benefits and downfalls of nuclear energy, components of a reactor, and how nuclear energy is converted to a useful form in electricity which is used to power the community.
If you are interested in exploring these areas of learning go to http://learning.aeak12online.org/ to learn more. These module are available for teachers to assign to students in the Student Personalized Learning System and is found in the category of Science.
AEA PD Online thanks Tyler Spear, Hunter Stumpf, Tyler Groathouse, Jackson Slagter, Noah Jacobson, Eli Wright, Claudia Kern and their teacher Tyler Wright for their hard work on these modules.
** Coming soon from students in the APEX program will be a variety of careers in energy. Look for this by the beginning of the new year. If you have students interested in creating content for Iowa teachers and students please contact Denise Krefting or Melissa Wicklund.
